Asom Gana Parishad has decided to go in supreme Court against CAB bill 2019. BJP Ally Asom Gana Parishad party were supporting Citizenship amendment Bill 2019 few days ago, but after looking recent condition they have decided to go in supreme Court against Citizenship amendment Bill 2019.

      Last week,the central government amended the citizenship law. The amendment is opposed to this law. Seven states, including Assam, Mizoram,Tripura, Nagaland, Sikkim have seen fury against the law and violence has erupted. It's effects are still unfolding.

 Meanwhile protests are continuing in Assam against the law. Two people were injured in police firing on Friday to disperse the crowd. He died and the death toll has risen to five. The names of the deceased are Ishwar Naik and Abdul Alam. On the other hand, Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said the government was committed to protect Indian citizens
